Opening in 1981, the establishment is no spring chicken, but with a grand total of 8 renovations in its recent history (most recently in 2018), it’s definitely one keeping up to date with the modern competition with plenty of entertainment available.
Inside you’ll find a 125,935 square foot area of gaming space, somewhat smaller than its competitors, but the prime location and Quarter IMAX more than makes up for it.

4. Caesars Atlantic City
Opened in 1979, Caesars is one of the older casinos on our list, but with such an iconic nature in the gambling scene – it’s a site we wouldn’t change for the world.
Look around the 145,000 square foot gaming floor and the Roman/Greek Empire theme runs rich through every step. But it’s not just the gaming floor that’s great for visiting at the resort, head out to the Pier Shops for a spot of souvenir browsing, head to Dusk Nightclub to experience the nightlife or down to Qua Baths & Spa to relax and enjoy your break.

Golden Nugget Casino comes in with one of the smaller gaming floors available when looking around Atlantic City – but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in restaurants – there’s an insane amount.
Gamers will find 74,252 square feet of space filled with all kinds of activities, from slots and blackjack to video poker and casino war – exactly as you’d expect from Golden Nugget. The theme is Gold Rush, something that’s evident with every turn and with a 2000-seat ballroom that boasted the likes of Prince, Sting, Ray Charles and plenty of others over the years.

6. The Wild Wild West Casino
The Wild Wild West Casino might be the most interesting casino offering games in Atlantic City with a very clear American Old West theme throughout.
The casino itself is known for being one of the few fully themed casinos available and with an exterior that even the best Hollywood set designed would be proud of – it sure looks and feels the part.
