Teaching
Any job that deals with unpredictable factors is going to require creativity. It’s a challenge to come up with new methods to deal with problems, and there are few jobs in the world that require creativity and the ability to adapt like being a teacher. With a classroom full of students, or even if you’re a private tutor for just one student at a time, everyone you teach is going to be different and offers new challenges to you on a daily basis.
Not only is this a challenging job that demands creativity and attention to detail, it’s also a fulfilling job. Teaching a younger generation something you are passionate about feels great and by empowering children with knowledge, you are essentially give them a better future. In other words, their future will literally be in your hands if you are their teacher. This immense responsibility is often forgotten and many teachers often neglect their duties. However, if you’re motivated to succeed and teach the younger generation, then a career in education could be a challenge unlike any other.
Manual Labour
Although the idea of manual labour makes some people cringe, there are some people that revel in it and love to do manual labour. This is because it’s active, it keeps you fit, and you’re usually doing something good for your community. For instance, as a postman, you’ll be delivering important letters and packages to people all over your city. You’ll get to walk around a lot or ride a bike, you spend most of your time outdoors, and you get to know the people who you deliver mail to.
It’s a lot more satisfying and fun than one might think, and although there will be snowy periods, rainy seasons and angry dogs chasing you, it’s worth the freedom of being outdoors. Keep in mind that manual labour usually requires some very specialised working equipment that you have to provide yourself. Tour Guide
There are very few jobs in the world that allow you to travel and talk about beautiful locations to people. You can show off all the amazing sights and sounds in your chosen location, show people the best places to take pictures, and explain all the history about your destination to your tourists as the marvel at it. It’s a fun job that involves a lot of travelling, and depending on the location you want to work in, you might not see your family or friends for long periods of time.
Being a tour guide can be quite tough and is often seasonal. Unless you are in a popular location that gets a lot of tourist traffic, you typically won’t get work for long periods of time. It is, however, one of the most enjoyable jobs that one can undertake. A lot of tour guides work outside, you’ll get to teach people and show them wondrous things, and it’s a lot more fun than sitting in an office.
