As many companies move remote and workers navigate working from home, it can feel tempting to sleep in instead of sticking to a regular schedule. However, it’s important to stick to a normal routine. 1. Cut caffeine after 2:00 p.m.

When that afternoon slump hits, it can feel tempting to reach for another cup of joe. However, any sort of caffeine after 2:00 p.m. can hurt your ability to fall asleep that night. When you start to feel tired mid-day, consider going for a walk outside or grabbing a healthy snack instead. 

2. Create a relaxing bedtime routine

After a long day, it can feel hard to relax before bed. However, it’s important to create a routine that will help you unwind. Consider putting on a relaxing pre-bedtime playlist and reading a book or doing some light yoga. 

3. Keep a to-do list by your bed 

If you’re someone who has a habit of lying in bed mulling over the laundry list of to-dos you have to do the next day, keep a notebook by your bed where you can jot down any thoughts or tasks that are on your mind. This will help you let go of these thoughts and allow your mind to relax.
