Mega Moolah was released in 2012 and is developed by gaming giants MicroGaming. In October 2015 the game was placed in the Guinness Book of World Records for paying out a World Record amount to a Brit, Jon Heywood, of £13,213,838 on a stake of only 25 pence. There have been two subsequent bigger wins but have remained anonymous so cannot be placed in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Mega Moolah can be played both on desktop and mobile but cannot be played in ‘fun game’ mode as there is always a contribution towards the jackpot fund from every bet.
The Mega Moolah theme is Wild Africa and the game offers 5 reels and 25 pay lines. The game also offers a Wheel of Fortune style jackpot.
