Vegetables are known as the best components in various meals. They do not contain any carbs and, therefore, will not lead to weight gain. However, some are not so safe if you are on a keto diet. The simple rule that guides this is that all vegetables that grow above the ground have low-carbs. But those found underground, such as sweet potatoes and potatoes are starchy.

Most people believe all vegetables are carb-free and will not hesitate to use any in their keto diet. But there are veggies loaded with carbs and will hinder you from enjoying keto diet benefits. A keto diet is a personal journey, and you should not let other people mislead you. You already know what to eat stick you eat. Even when you go out with friends, skip their lunch if you cannot find anything keto-friendly. Besides, you should eat before you leave the house, and your willpower to resist unhealthy food will not be compromised.
