  1. Hi Chantal – It’s so true that a lack of communication or understaffing causes extreme distress to normally well-performing individuals and teams. I think a big issue with communication is people just don’t know how. It’s crazy to think about how much time we spend in English class to learn spelling, yet adults cannot figure out how to turn to the person next to them and say “hey, what did you think about…?” or, “hey, can you help me out with…?” or, “hey, your action negatively impacted me in X ways.” or even, “I love that you did X.
