Keeping employees engaged is more than a pat on the back or saying ‘Good Job’ every once and a while. It needs to be something that is incorporated into the company’s culture and values. If you take a look at any type of list that has the best places to work there is a common theme:

-They provide growth and learning opportunities within the organization and the employees’ roles.
Engagement in an organization needs to come from the top down. Employees don’t leave jobs, they leave managers. Sometimes starting is the hardest part but if you can incorporate small, genuine actions regularly it should go a long way into turning your work environment into a more engaged and happy one.
